If the red light keeps flashing and you can print, then it means your color cartridge has no more ink in it. Please replace it. If this is not the case, switch off the printer for few minutes (10mins), unplug the power cord and reinstall all the cartridges.
It depends on what warning light is on! In any case, from your description and experience, it would be your engine 'Oil' warning light: it comes on when there is not enough lubrication (thus the overheating) flowing because of low oil pressure: immediately check your oil leveland top up as required) and make sure that change your oil and oil filter as soon as possible as it is a very damaging condition and the engine could seize. Hope it helps: let me know hoe you go.
That is your coolant light. When the coolant is cold (car is cold) it is blue for a moment then goes out. When the coolant is too hot, it is red. When it flashes, you are low on coolant. Check the coolant tank level (it is the big ball shaped reservoir) and make sure you are within the operating level (about half way up, there are marks indicating proper level)
When your ink starts getting low, you will see a red light flashing on
the printer. There is a tear drop shape next to the indicator light on
the top of the printer. You can keep printing until the light stays
red. Once the light stays red, they will need to be changed. When you
need more ink, Epson will have a window pop up on your computer
wanting you to purchase ink from them. You do not need to do this. We
bought our ink cartridges at Best Buy. This printer uses
DuraBrite Ultra Ink. There are 2 types; 69 or 88. They recommend 69 for
heavy use and 88 for moderate use. The 88 has about half the ink the 69
does. We buy the 69 because it lasts much longer. We use this printer
about 3 times a week on average and we haven’t had to change the ink
for about 6 months. The 69 black ink at Best Buy is less than
$20.00 and the color ink is about $14 for each of the 3 colors. The
color 88 comes with all 3 in a pack and it’s about $30.00.
You should not remove any old cartridges until you are ready to
replace them because if there isn’t any in there it can dry out the
nozzles. You open the scanner and press the stop button and the printer
head moves to the correct position. Open the cover and squeeze the tabs
that are there and remove the old ones. Then as mentioned in the set
up, insert each one in the correct color and press until they click.
This printer was actually the easiest that I have ever had when it came
to changing the ink. Another thing that you should know is that you
cannot refill the cartridges. They have to be new.
This means that your printer is trying to print from the wrong serial port connection, as your printer should be connected via a USB cable.
Go to start>control panel>printers and faxes.
Double click the printer and faxes icon and your Epson printer icon should be there and set as default with a tick next to it; right click on the icon>properties and then at the top of the next window, click on the tab that says ports and a list of ports will be there and the one that should be ticked should be USB001, and not LPT1 as it will be show, press ok and close windows and restart the pc.
