Sadly, one of the clips on my primary laptop battery is broken, so the battery frequently becomes briefly disconnected, which of course causes a hard stop/reset if I'm not plugged in at the time. Adding annoyance upon annoyance, the date/time always resets, which I presume pretty definitely means the cmos battery is either dead or non-existing. Any help with the following questions is greatly appreciated! a) Is my assumption about the cmos battery a good one? b) Is it reasonably trivial to access the cmos battery on this machine? c) Could anyone point me to good documentation, hopefully with pictures, on how to replace the cmos battery on the Vaio VGN-CR510E? Thanks for any help!

There are several LCD screen parts suppliers on the Internet. I use this site for parts etc. www.lcdparts.net
