Is a suspension spring compressing tool needed to change lower control arm/ball joint front


usually when the spring is above and over the upper control arm you jack the center of the car up until the wheel clears the ground.
At that point the lower ball joint can be removed. Hope this helps.

Bar that should be connected to front driver side wheel, it is broken off .approx.4-6 inches from the wheel, and I need to know for sure what the bar is


2002 Chevy Monte Carlo; connected to wheel (or steering knuckle) is:
-lower control arm, connects from frame to bottom of knuckle
-tie rod end, connects from steering gear to knuckle
-sway bar link, connects from strut to lower control arm

Yes, you will need an item called a SWI-JACK by PAC.

I wouldn't recommend it because then you will have empty holes in your steering wheel. Plus if you do take them out you need to be careful not to set the airbag off.

I don't think you install the green and blue wires to the actual deck itself you just plug the aux cord from the pac into the back of the deck the otherwires depend on your car

There are a few aftermarket manufacturers that sell "adapters".... Check your local big box store, such as Best Buy, they usually sell and can install the adapter.

change out the clock spring. i had this happen to me google the lincoln ls clock spring installation and then go to the dealership and purchase the part. it will run you about $138.

Replace the Clock spring. It is mounted behind steering wheel. It alows electrical connection while the wheel turns.
