for the price of a face, you are probably better off buying a new radio.

Can you disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 minutes, plug back in and see if it resets itself? It should clear all memory and reset when you do that.

Hi.

Ensure that the stereo is powered, check cable and connection.
Disconnect battery for one minute and try again.
Before disconnecting the battery ensure that you have anti theft code if required.
If that does not work, disconnect battery again, and try repeatedly pressing the eject on changer while someone else connect power back.

If that does not work the unit must be taken apart to remove the disk. Disassembly involves removing external cover, and usually it is not too complex.

Sir, this is just a guess, try pushing the source button, which should change you from radio,cd,aux

are they CDs from a store and legal? or are they copies? cdr? cdrw? cause some players are tempromental with burned CDs.

After contacting blaupunkt, they say there is a problem with your unit. Please contact them for repair or replacement

look for power button or "source" button. May be labeled SRC
sometimes it takes a 2 second hold - not just a quick press.
Also could be 3/4 circle with a diagonal dash.

It is upper right button SRC

another suggestion, I am not sure if you can do it (pull the head unite out) , but there is a Phone wire. (not sure of the color i think its either white or green) on the back of the head unit. if this is a naked wire (since you bought the car used it may be) and it grounds it will cause the player to go into phone mute mode>> check that out and tape up the wire if its exposed.
