Error code F1 indicates electronic control failure and is displayed due to electronic oven control failure and the only way to solve this problem is by replacing the control board which is bad. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Hello,Please use the chart to determine which stove you have. You will have to look at the model number. The first 3 numbers will be the series on the chart. In most cases an F1 error would require replacement of the electronic control. This part is commonly refered to as an EOC or ERC. However this type of repair is usually reserved for repair specialists.

F1 = Stuck Touch Pad Key - Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 911 Series (General Electric/Roper)
F0-F1-FF = Failed transistor in Electronic Range Control (ERC).

F1-E0 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E1 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E2 U/L ERC Errors - Electronic Range Control (ERC).

Kill power 30 seconds-Cancel-Start/Enter-5 seconds-Should see “E” for electric-
“9” for gas-If code changes again-replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

F1 = Shorted Touch Pad = Electronic Range Control (EOC) Internal check sum error.
Runaway Temp = Replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Kill power 30 seconds - if error returns - replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

You have a stuck pad on the control board. Push every button several times to try and clear it. If that does not clear the stuck pad you will have to replace the electronic control.

1.Loose wire to control board
2. Defective control board
3. This requires interactive troubleshooting

Check all circuits in the range for a short to ground and correct the short..
Your electronic controlis fried.
Power surges are electronic controls worst enemy.
Replace your electrinic control.

if you are handy enough you can replace the switches or make ur own, if the range is under warranty i covers everything except a sledge hammer to the control knobs :)
