Bosch refrigerator set time

On some microwave ovens (GE for one), you press a 'set time' button and rotate the knob to display the current hour then press the 'set time' button again and rotate the knob to set minutes.

If this just started, the internal clock battery may need to be replaced, if there is one.

turn the oven off at mains for a few secs. When you turn it on the display should flash 0.00 or 12.00. Press the clock button once ( don't hold it in) use the + or - to set time. Once time selected don't press anything else after a few secs the oven will register and hold you selection.

To change time on your Bosch oven, please do the following:

1. Press the clock icon (above the MINUS (-) button repeatedly until the clock icon on the display illuminates.

Please note: There are 4 illuminated icons on the display above the time. There are 3 which have clocks on them. You need to make sure the 4th icon (on the far right) is illuminated on the display.

2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the clock to the correct time.

Once you have set the correct time, the oven will return the displaying the time and the illuminated clock icon will disappear. You do not need to press anything to confirm the time is set.

Set the clock by following these steps: a). Touch TIME pad. b). Turn rotary knob clockwise until CLOCK appears. c). Touch TIME pad. d). Turn rotary knob in either direction. The time displayed will change in 10-minute increments and indicate AM or PM. Turn the knob in the opposite direction and the display will change in one-minute increments. e). Touch TIME pad. The clock is now set. in some units there is button instead of knob in that case the clock indicating button has to be pressed . This will help. If it has a timer, then make sure it is set manual and not auto, or the oven will not work.
Try pressing 2 buttons at the left of timer and one button on right of timer to set it to manual, if it does not work this way, then try another combination of buttons.

I some how got mine into engineering mode so switched it off for a few seconds.

The time should then blink, press the Clock button briefly and 12:00 shoul appear, then press + or - until desired time is reached then 'Clock' again

If you unclick the top button on the time set screen, you can manually set the clock for the instrument pod which will stay on time. Clicking it back on will allow the GPS to set the clock, but it has been explained to me that it will only reset itself in nav mode and then only when it wants to. Funny how Lexus has no problem with this, but then again Maserati wanted to use only Bosch/Blaupunkt which has a useless nav system without street names, etc., like on my father's Mercedes S500 (which is why I can recognize the poor controls, un-automatic A/C-heating system, etc). Would be nice if the beautiful analog clock everyone looks at could tell time accurately.
