I have a a trigger head turbine control DC39 and the brush does not get engaged to spin at all. this happened after I washed the head. There is no red button on this brush or the vacuum itself to reset.
SOURCE: brush and belt no longer rotating
you probablly need a new belt clutch it should go to a vac shop it isnt an easy fix
SOURCE: The spinning brush isn't moving
Belt may be off the motor spindle, with the vacuum off try turning the brush by hand, does it turn freely or can you feel the resistance of the motor?
SOURCE: Brush stopped spinning
If you've had the brush out to clean it you need to re-set the trip switch which is a red button at the right side of the brush simply press it in till it clicks.
SOURCE: Dyson DC24 brush no spinning.
