I have a DKNY NY-1251 but i need the instruction to work it because it not working with new batteries. it was working but keeps on stopping

If it is an analog watch and the second hand moves a few time then stops and sort of twitches then the watch battery (even though new) may be bad. If not the the watch is dead and needs repair.

I've had the Avalon EXC talking watch for just a little over a year. A month ago, the battery quit, so I went to a store that had a jewelry counter and they replaced the battery. After just a month, it...

Some of these talking watches have 2 batteries, one for the voice and one for the hands, the one for hands is underneath the talking part. A lot of people don't know this and, just change the top battery. All watch batteries are the same voltage but the better brands tend to last longer, a good Swiss battery is the way to go. The more you use the talking function the more power you, will use

Why would a tissot t-touch need an overhaul to replace a dead battery

These babies are notorious for going down the tubes with a battery change. I bet if you get it back it won't work with a new battery. Twice I have replaced batteries and the watch didn't work when I finished. One of them was my own watch, I think $450 is about half the price of a new watch and that is sad. Cool watch just not very long life

The watch is off....nothing on any of the screens and the hands are not working..so its dead! how do i get it to turn back on?

I am guessing the battery went dead. Put the watch under a lamp about 10 inches from the bulb and leave it for 12 to 24 hours. This will recharge the cell. Then you will have to go through the setting procedure from the start. Either refer to the CD, your owners manuel or the Citizen website. You will need to do the "reset" procedure most likely. This ordinarily is not needed but in your case most likely will be needed as a result of your battery going completely dead.

Watch is about 7 years old. It went unused, but remained in light & charged for about a year. I started using it again last week. After a few days, the hands and date stopped turning. Doesn't...

The hands are not driven by the knobs. The knobs set the digital and the digital drive the hands. Find full particulars here: http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/English/settings_int.asp?caliber=C651&interactive=C650 Your watch is not driven by a battery in the usual sense.

If after you do all that is asked of you by the instructions and the watch still will not run as it should, contact Citizen and get a return authorization. My Sky Hawk was dead dead dead. I returned it to them and they got it running and it is still running these several years later. Of course, today I keep it where it can get light daily. In my case, there was no charge for this service, which is not to say yours will be the same. Ask them in your e-mail to them. In my case, it didn't make any difference, I had to get my $500.00 watch working again even if it cost some amount of $.

Same thing happened to me, took watch to watch shop, they changed the battery and the chimes stopped working. Simple fix, the faceplate was put back on wrong. Unscrew the face plate and turn it upside down (or right side up depending on your POV) the circle on the inside of the faceplate will line up with the springs inside the watch and the chimes will start working again. If you have a pair of eyeglasses screwdrivers, like I did, you can do this yourself.

Will the analog (hands) stop working on a Wave Ceptor when the battery is low/dead? Digital feature still works fine....watch about 4 years old

Yes, definitely analogue part will stop, because it takes more power to move gears and hands. Replace battery and you'll be OK. Rate me, plz.
