Need new battery for remington ms1500 - Remington MS-5100 Electric Shaver

The rechargable nickel-cadmium is hard-wired and not replaceable.

Instructions for removing the battery from the user manual:
1. Make sure your groomer is unplugged from any outlets so you don't risk an electric shock.
2. Remove side panels/grips
3. Remove the 4 housing screws
4. Pull or gently pry the clipper halves apart, exposing the batteries.
5. Remove batteries from the unit.
6. Twist batteries to break wires. Wires may also be cut.

I also own an MB-300. The battery still works good and I loved this trimmer but I need a new cutter blade for mine.

The thing you need to be careful of is soldering any wires or plates to the new batteries.

Unfortunately, blades for this model were discontinued several years ago by the manufacturer and are now impossible to find now.

Open shaver by removing two screws on the back. Then remove back cover to access battery compartment. You will need to 'unsolder' the wires from the ends of the batteries. Once removed, solder the new batteries to the wires.

Remington Titanium R-450 - I have one of these that I got on the cheap. The rechargeable batteries died and the thing would not rev up. Batteries need to be soldered in - I opened it up and cut out the 2 cheap nicads and it now runs like new - just not cordless.

Replacement instructions:
Remove the two screws on the back to remove the back cover. Unsolder the wires connected to the batteries and solder in the new batteries the same way you take out the old ones
