I can hear the program but have no picture.. When I punch in channel 03.. Says not available

You have a DVD player hooked etc to either channel three or four? Usually this equipment is connected into the Jacks on the rear of the set, that is to say hooked to a video input and not with the tuner, if hooked that way select the input with the remote for the set and see the picture....

Clarify how you are hooked and where

Look in the menu for "autoprogram" and settings for set to be cable or air for what you are using.

Auto program should scan and store all available channels. Most sets have a manual add or delete of channels.

I would first with the remote direct enter a channel like 03 enter to see if set has a problem or not.

problem with keyboard on set front or side===likely defective switches under the plastic buttons.

Try to direct enter channel three (03 enter) to get to that channel--if that works go into menu and find where to add the channel into the set memory.

Also can try in the customer menu to "Auto-program" which should restore ALL CHANNELS AVAILABLE to memory.

Press the MTS on the remote control handset to select STEREO, MONO or SAP. All the options will be available only when the current TV channel is broadcasting that option. Channels will not always carry programes, that have all MTS options. If "STEREO" appears on the screen when you select a channel means stereo sound is available with current programme. You can hear sound from both speakers. If broadcast is not strong and clear, stereo sound will not be available. Press "MTS" button to change it to "Mono". This will eliminate the noise. If "MONO" appears on the screen when you select a channel, stereo effect will not be availabe, even though you have set it to stereo. If "SAP" appears when you select a channel 'Second Audio Programe' [SAP] broadcasting is available for that programme. Press the "MTS" button to 'SAP' and you can hear that programe in different language or some other kind of audio.

There should be buttons on the cabinet to control the TV. Are the buttons on the cabinet not working?

Two options...

1. Connect the Cable Box via RCA cables (Yellow/Red/White) or Component cable if you have a HD cable box and select the appropriate input on the TV to view your programs. This will provide the best picture quality as well.

2. Make sure the cable box is on. Using the original TV remote type in the channel 03 and if this tunes to the channel then go to the TV menu and then go to Set up and then select add/erase and select add.

If typing 03 did not tune in channel 3 then using the TV remote select menu then go to set up and then make sure TV / Cable is set to cable then on the cable box press the channel button a couple of times and then select auto program on the tv.

This can be accomplished using a few steps. All sets allow you to delete channel. The first step is to autoprogram the set to receive all channels. Once that is complete, work your way through the menus to the channel selection portion. You should then have the option of deleting channels. Once you delete all the channels that are not wanted, the channel up/down should cycle through the remaining available channels. If there are channels that you wish to add later, the same menu should allow you to add them back in.

Define "Lost." if you manually tune to the channel, whats there. By manually tune I mean punch in the channel number on the remote itself instead of using the guide or channel up/down buttons.

If the channel is there but not on the guide, you have set a custom guide and would need to go into your guide setup to change it back to "All Channels."

If you do not have apicture on the missing channel, reply back with the channel number and the error message at the bottom of the screen.
