Question about Panasonic PanaFax UF-490 All-In-One Laser Printer
We had a power outage at work over the weekend.
The power is back on but the Panafax UF-490 will not print any faxes. There are two error codes that flash "Printer Error 021" and "Power Failure 887".
I have tried unplugging it for a few minutes then plugging it back in, in other outlets. I have also replaced all the cords, etc but it's still not working.
We have no tech support and we have no service contract with anyone for this fax machine.
We are able to fax out, however, and we are receiving faxes and they are being stored in the memory, they just aren't printing.
Rubbish fax machine.
Get a new one!

SOURCE: Problem after power outage
has had a fuser error probably over temperature, it will need to be reset in service mode- lbp fuser reset, before it will work. if it repeats this error it will need lamp, thermostat or lvps

SOURCE: PANAFAX UF-490 and VISTA
you can try a uf4000 print driver its just the newer version of the uf490
you can not get copies of what you faxed out. you could print a com journal for future faxes
