Make sure you install your drivers for the new graphics card before you actually put it in.

Need new card, system requirements confusing

Radeon X800 XL is a PCI-E (PCI-Express) card, you can replace it with any current ATI or nVidia video card that uses the PCI-E slot. Since you already have a PCI-E card before, I would bet you already meet most of the system requirements.

Need help disableing onboard video, and installing PCIe video card.

Hi rebelel1271, I do have the manual for you're Intel motherboard. You can have it as well. Click on the link below to download you're manual. document.write("D101GGC Product Documentation & Manuals") D101GGC Product Documentation & Manuals
Intel states you do not need to make any bios changes when you add a PCI-Express video card. See this on page 17, PCI and PCI Express Auto Configuration. Before installing you're PCI-E video card, open windows controll panel. Than open add/remove programs. Look for the driver software for you're onboard ATI Radeon X200. Uninstall that software. (If listed). Close all opened windows & shut down windows. Unplug the power cord from the PC. Open the case. Install you're new ATI Radeon X800 PCI-E video card. Double check all internal connections, (In case you may have bumped loose any cables). You're X800 may also have a 3-pin or 4-pin male power connector built on the card. If so, plug power to the X800.

A little information. Once you're PCI-E has been installed. You're system memory will increase.

Good Luck!
If I can help you further, feel free to post here.

How to make use of 2 DVI outputs on Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO2 Graphics card

You need ATIs Catalyst Software to run dual monitors. Just installing the drivers is not enough. There is a bummer part of all this. Before you install the latest driver/Catalyst Crontrol Center, you will have to uninstall your current X800 software through Control Panel. If it fail to uninstall you will need to use ATIs uninstall software called: cat-uninstaller.exe. The first link below.
When you have the new CCC & driver installed you'll need to setup your dual monitors within the Catalyst Control Center. K

1 last item. Please make sure your operating system is updated. ATI wants you to have .Net framework 2.0 installed before you install the driver package.

ATI X800 XT Mac Edition and Mac G5 boot troubleshooting

I have the same card and many of the same issues.  I got an RMA number and had to contact ATI after "Clear Business Days" to get a status report.  Having finally gotten a response, I find out that it will be 10 to 12 WEEKS before the card comes back.
Knowing what I know now, I would not purchase this card again.
