SOURCE: Xerox Phaser 6360 Black Toner prints Light Grey

I have had to repair a few of these. Take off the sides and back of the 6360. You'll see the hoses that feed into the laser. The black one becomes unplugged from the laser. All you have to do is plug it back in. The next step can be kinda messy. Take out the black toner cartridge, and spin the motor backwards. You'll know you're going the right way because it won't turn the other way. Cycle the gear where the toner sits for about 2 revolutions. Reassemble and you should be good to go!

This thing took me 6 days to figure out the first time. Haha!

Please vote on my solution! Thanks!

SOURCE: 1050C plotter

replace the network card, then reconfigure the IP address in the machine and that should take care of you. if not then you could have a bad emod (electronics module). also check the cat5 cable and the network drop for functionality.

SOURCE: My Xerox 8400 is printing

Try printing a light stripes test page (Troubleshooting, print quality problems, troubleshooting print quality page).

If you do not appear to have many missing jets but the colours are all just wrong it may be that the ink has gone stale. Run a couple of head cleans and you should see the colours start to improve. If it is getting better, all you can do is keep running head cleans until you have replenished all the ink in the printhead well.

This problem is common in situations where a lot of black and white printing is done, with very little colour.
Alternatively, it could be that your wiper/cleaning blade is not cleaning the head properly and is smearing the different coloured inks across the head, or possibly that your printhead is leaking colours but I think the first solution should solve your problem.
Hope this helps.

Workcentre 7755 with a finisher errors 375-210-00, 375-211-00 & 312-335-00 is preventing me from printing. How do I get it printing again?

your finisher error usually has to do with the box on the side that stacks the prints in order. it raises up and down to put one copy of each thing in each stack (can't think of the term for it ((not newb just old)) anyway sometimes if it's not pushed back into place and locked there it will cause errors because the printer can not tell where the prints are being expelled from the machine at (which slot ) Xerox finishers are the worst about this sort of thing too. those issues don't happen with ANY other brand of large volume networked printer. also that 7755 I getting a little long in the tooth so things may be just wearing out on it

How to Resolved Error printing in Panasonic KX-P1124?

My system printer is an old style traction printer - Panasonic KX-1124. I'm a furniture maker and need to print full size long curves for patterns.
I'm migrating from AutoSketch to AutoCAD 2002 and am getting an error trying to print.
When I hit plot and select the KX-1124 AutoCad gives me the message "Paper size in the layout is not supported by the selected plot device.
The layout will use the papersize specified by the plot device."
When I check the properties the media source says the paper is 8-1/2 by 11 inches. Which is correct.
But under User Defined paper sizes/modify standard paper sizes, the 8-1/2 by 11 size shows a width of 17" and height of 5.50" Modifying that only allows to change the borders.
Please advise on how to change the printable area back to 8-1/2 by 11. I don't have any problem with other application including my old AutoSketch apps.

I have plotter HP designjet 500 24" but when plotting from autocad do not plot in gray color, even though layers as assigned in light colors on the plot style.

You need to set up your pen assignments in Autocad, have you done this? ie, Pen1 is 0,25 black, pen2 is 0,35 blue etc, etc. If this is not done you will have problems with colours and line thickness's.

When Plotting and copying the right and left edges prints/copies a lot lighter than the center.

what model xerox machine is it?
If the machine has a Drum in it orPR belt, it is usually a bad pr belt or drum.
dirty cortrons can cause this problem. Dirty optics can cause this also.
if it is digital, I would need to know the model number.

I need to get a drawing in autocad lt 2004 into the background of the draft so when plotted out it will be alot lighter than the main linework

Transparent Toolbar Button images

To create a transparent background in the Button Editor for creating images in AutoCAD 2004 and higher. To do this you can use the Light Grey color in the lower-left corner of the swatch for AutoCAD 2002 and earlier, or the True Color 192,192,192 in AutoCAD 2004 and later.
