My desktop is too small cant expand - Sony VAIO PCG-K25 Notebook

There are five different models of the G580 laptop on the Lenovo web site. You may need to open each one to find the correct driver that you are looking for.

Below is the main web page that lists all 5 models.

Step 1:

Check for the network drivers installed
1.Click Start-> RUN->Type"DEVMGMT.MSC" without quotes.
2. Hit enter

Step 2:

Now check for the Network drivers
Expand the option Network Adapter by clicking on the + symbol
Rt click on the network Driver and click Uninstall and then restart the system

Once the system is restarted the drivers will get installed.

Go here , expand the Audio section and click on the Analog Devices - Driver download button, then select Download thru the browser - Save the file the launch it.

I thing your desktop letters are looking small or internet explorer .

if your desktop icon and letters are looking small so click right on desktop go to properties select theme and choose windows XP.


IF internet explorer letters are looking small so press control key(ctrl) and move scroll wheel of mouse.

Try heat....this will allow the fitting to expand, and make it easier to loosen. A small propane torch should give you enough heat.

Windows XP Solution:
Right click on your desktop and proceed into the display settings by selecting the properties option. Select the "settings" tab. Then select the small box labeled "2". Then click the box labeled "Extend My windows desktop to this monitor" Click "ok" and your desktop will now be expanded across the LCD tv screen.

it was my gateway,oooooooooooooooooops!!!

remove the frame from the display
remove touchscreen
slide the small cover in center
install memory

Delete LowerFilters/UpperFilters
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. Registry Editor starts.
Step 2: Delete the UpperFilters registry entry
1. In Registry Editor, expand My Computer, and then expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
2. Expand SYSTEM, and then expand CurrentControlSet.
3. Expand Control, and then expand Class.
4. Under Class, click {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
5. In the right pane (topic area), click UpperFilters.
Note An UpperFilters.bak registry entry may also appear. To delete the UpperFilters registry entry, you must click UpperFilters and not UpperFilters.bak.
6. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
