Two options: one, do nothing as it doesn't hurt anything to have a dormant (free) account; two, follow the standard password recovery prompts to have the password reset and then follow through with an actual cancellation.

That is a problem I know. I also forget where I write the answers so as to remember them.
What I have done is one of two.
1 ask for a new username and simple facts security questions like best friend, home in childhood.
2 establish a new account, has been my destiny as well
when I remember my old answers I go into my old account and close it.

Closing your YouTube account will permanently delete your videos, channel, and profile. You will not be able to open a new account with the same username.

If you still wish to close your YouTube account, please follow these steps:

There are 2 cases here:
a) you need to delete the whole ACCOUNT (not just the MAIL in these accounts)

Your issue here seems to be only resolved with facebook admins.

You were either:
1. Blocked for some reason by facebook admin staff. (contact facebook help/support via email)
2. Hacked from someone who changed your password. (contact facebook help/support via email)
3. Locked your account by forgetting your password and entering it wrong too many times. (In this case, just follow the on-screen instructions on how to re-set your account etc via your registered email on facebook and/or answering your secret questions appropriately). If you dont remember your secret question/answer etc. please contact facebook help/support.

To access Facebook help/support for these kind of issues: Go to the bottom right-hand corner of the initial facebook screen, there is a help button.Here you can search for the relevant info.

To contact Facebook help/support directly: You have to be able to login to your account, so try and convince someone to "Report issue" via his account. Alternatively what I was able to track is that facebook emails are ending like this: @facebookmail.com (but no contact info can be found anywhere).

when you login to yahoo account, it gives you the option "forgot my password".enter that screen.answer your security questions and provide answers to them which you had provided at the time of making yahoo account.that is the only option available for you.any more help plz lemme know
