If its moving backward, then you need to set the correct "Reverse Polarization" settings. The system thinks you are in Reverse. Did you hook up the reverse / back-up wire and correctly set the Reverse Polarization?

I hav3e a Whistler 1765 unit and when I tried to transfer it to a new car it would not calibrate, even after 5 tries. It was "stuck" on 315 degrees. Then the display changed and was stuck on...

There could be few reasons for this.
1. There is strong magnetic field near the radar detector. This could be even car speakers.
2. There is power lines going above the place where you are trying to calibrate.
3. To complete calibration you need to press both the volume control buttons while the vehicle is parked.. The display will show "CAL MODE". Then slowly drive at least 2 complete circles while in calibration mode. Then again press both the volume control buttons for 2 seconds until it beeps and shows " CAL DONE" in the display.

The wiper blade is stuck to the print head of my xerox c2424 printer. how do you take the ink cartridge tray out to get to the print head. i have it torn down that far...bonnie

The printhead and wiper could be heated to soften the ink.
Enter Diagnostics by holding the back arrow and "i" button while powering up. Go to the Monitor menu and turn on "All Heaters"
After a few minutes, it should be able to be moved away.

This situation may have broken 2 Camshafts and perhaps even motors. If you continue to get an error 07,010 then buy this kit "C2424-Z2" It may require a technician to install.

Hp laserjet 2660n prints every page on red background even from auto testing; I have just bought it.

This is a common problem with this printer. Try this and it must be done 3 times in a row. Also, sometimes if there cartridges are not all from the same maker there may be issues. The transfer belt can be changed but it requires removing a few covers.

Calibrate the printer at the control panel of the printer
  1. Press the c00314542.gif (LEFT ARROW) or c00314543.gif (RIGHT ARROW) button until the display reads System setup and then press c00314544.gif (SELECT).
  2. Press the c00314542.gif (LEFT ARROW) or c00314543.gif (RIGHT ARROW) button until the display reads Print quality and then press c00314544.gif (SELECT).
  3. Press the c00314542.gif (LEFT ARROW) or c00314543.gif (RIGHT ARROW) button until the display reads Calibrate color and then press c00314544.gif (SELECT).
  4. Press the c00314542.gif (LEFT ARROW) or c00314543.gif (RIGHT ARROW) button until the display reads Calibrate now and then press c00314544.gif (SELECT).
  5. Press the c00314544.gif (SELECT) button to confirm Calibrate now.

Hi,

Try removing each of the cartridges and vigorously shake. It is possible that the powder inside has formed into blocks, partially solidified, gummed together. This is specially true if the ambient temperature is usually cold and the printer is seldom used.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
