you mite have to re range the wording to get the front panel light setup
you mite have to use motherboard type, various type of word and to the point but they will be able to help you resovle the issue
ps if the photo on the screen diplay is correct, the words mite be on the motherboard, it mite be abbrivated but just remember try the connector one way if it doesnt work than flip it 180 degrees, the board should also give you the side of positive [+] side, you put the color wire to the [+] side most of the time. the photo shows you the placement of connector and the connector are printed on the cable match the colors of the board to the connectors
there is a blower relay circuit board located right by the blower motor which sounds like your problem to me i've worked on several that had the same type problem and thats what it was. the two blower motor wires will plug into it and there are two screws that hold it on
check spark plugs are clean ! swap plugs over and see if the cylinder that wasnt working now works , are both plugs sparking , compressions ok , put finger over each holes and see if both feel the same ? any more info you have mite help me find the problem !!
Are you looking for the easiest way to do the job, if so, you need to get behind the machine, unplug unit, and get the rear access panel off the unit. Pull the belt off, then using a 5/16", drop the 3-4 screws that hold the motor on, then slide it a little out of the way. Speed control board sits in that white box right next to motor. There is one screw that holds it to the side of unit, and two screws that hold a "L" brace to the board and the floor. Watch where the wiring goes to the different points, then slide the box towards the front and lift to remove. Get board in better position, remove wiring, then put new board in. WARNING the insides and sides of the access hole area's are RAZOR sharp. Use good gloves or severe caution while working inside and near the edges. You can very easily loose a finger or cut yourself very badly. Good Luck!!!
Sounds like they are not touching the board inside the remote. for that take the remote apart reposition the board inside of it (careful not put fingers on board, sides only) make sure they are working and then put the remote back together.
the problem is with the display...the board inside mite have a small bent or disconnection. its better to show it to a mobile expert in such cases.Just because its SONY it is very delicate.. things might get worst if we keep our hands on it..
thanks for rating
Good luck
Communication problem between main circuit boards inside machine, mite also be a loose connection between boards. Copier on good surge protector? Not some cheap strip type? One that also protects fax line and network connections?
Usually all amps spark a little when hooked up again after a while of no use. this happen cause there are many little capacitors inside to keep the amp running when hitting long bass notes. I think the reason you have been having problem after replacing the transistors is because there not the rite model number or maybe the polarity. You mite have to call jl and ask them if they have any in stock or google the model number of the transistor and buy them and replace them and see if it work. if it doesnt work then it mite be something else inside.
Easy if you're comfortable opening up the receiver and working on electronics. To obtain a 'new' battery you can use Ebay, search for "navman 510 battery" and you should find some for sale. They seem to sell for about $20 including shipping. First find a good environment to work on the receiver, someplace where you can have good lighting and a good place to put parts. You may want to lay down a towel or something so you don't scratch up the receiver and also so if you drop the screws they don't bounce away from you.
First remove the SD card, then the screws from the back. After you have the screws out, slide your finger nail (NOT screwdriver) along the seam pressing inwards, the cases should separate and you should then be looking at the inside of the receiver. First, you'll have to disconnect the antenna connector. Then you'll have to remove some screws holding down the main circuit boards inside. Be careful when removing components that you don't crack the boards, they're very thin! After you have the boards out you'll be able to unplug the battery from the main board (they ran the cables under the boards so you have to remove them to get the battery out). Put the new battery in and reassemble.
Make sure to fully charge the battery before you first use it.
