Lexmark x2670 won't start up. There is no power and there very quite high pitched hum sound

Hello. First i would check the outlet that its plugged into. If plugged into a wall outlet, check to see if the circuit is tripped. Might have to reset the circuit. Next try a different power outlet. Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer and plug back in. If still not working, try a different comparable power cable. If that don't work either, check to see if the printer is under warranty with Lexmark and call the customer support line and see if they can place service on it. Hope that helps

Get error message "Printer error: see your documentation and call service if necessary."

I found this on another website and it worked for me. It apparently resets the printer. Hope it works for you:

1.) power on (error message)
2.) press the "Stop (triangle)" and the "Colour copy" button and hold them
3.) press the power button to power off, still hold 2.)
4.) press the power button to power on, still holding 2.)
5.) the LEDs start to flash, then they stop to flash and the red exclamation mark starts to flash. Now release 2.)

6.) the LED should say: "Init EEprom"
7.) now press and hold the power button until the printer powers off and powers on again.

HP 2210 all-in-one printer won't start.

Hi

I request you to check the power cable of the printer and remove the ink cartridges from the printer and power off the printer.

Wait for 2 to 3 minutes and then power on the printer. If still does not work check with different power outlet.

This should work.

DOT MATRIX PRINTER PROBLEM

Hi, to perform a self-test on an Epson LX300 > start with the power switch off. Press LF/FF (middle switch), without releasing that button, power on the printer. If everything is ok it will print a sel-test page. To do a Hex Dump > start at power off, simultaneously press Font and the LF/FF buttons (left & middle buttons), then power on; to revert the printer to its factory default setting(s) > start in off position, press Font (left) button then power on. (Slightly different with an LX300+) Hope this works out for you. Cheers.
