Question about Dometic RM2652 Refrigerator
Won't come on
You need to ensure you have 12V going to the fridge. Also insure you have 12V on both sides of the terminal block in which the 12V connects to. They will sometime corode. That is more then likely your problem. If you do not have 12V then you must check fuses at you fuse panel/converter in the RV itself. If you do have 12V going to the fridge then you must check the fuses in the new board that you installed. You can give us a call if you would like. It is key that all control switches are in the correct position, depending on what power source you are using, gas, electric, etc. If the switches are not in the proper setting, the unit will not operate.
Here's the manual for your fridge that should be printed out for your use and reference (and reading enjoyment). It has all the info needed to operate and troubleshoot it.
Typically, when using any gas appliance with a pilot light, the sensor has to first be hot enough to trigger it to allow the safety gas shutoff to open and allow the gas to flow to the pilot/burner. Follow the instructions and you should be all set.

SOURCE: my dometic fridge will not turn on
Check to see if you have a switch for storage, on, off etc. usually between doors, or near top right corner of fridge compartment. It may be in wrong position.

1. No operation - no panel lights: DC Volts
Fuse
Wiring
Upper Circuit Board
Lower Circuit Board

I would start with the DC volatage and track it back until you lose it. Most of the time it does end up being the lower circuit board though.

Hi Patty La Chapelle, I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Have you checked to ensure you have 12V going to the refrigerator? There is two wires coming from RV that feed the fridge 12V.
I did not check that, but did not suspect that either as it was running fine and suddenly stopped and lost all the lights on the panel.
I might mention there are 4 loose wires inside the fridge that go to the light. They are just hanging there and not connected to the light. Could this have anything to do with it? My husband swears it does not, but checking anyway.
