To fix the switch
Service manuals for the Electrolux vacuums, including the accessories, are only available to the franchise owners and service techs.
Also, having said that, I don't recommend fixing the switch yourself. Replacing the switch involves disassembly of the canister, which is a bit complicated. Putting it back together correctly, without crimping wires. even more so.
I used to be an Electrolux service manager and have seen vacs brought in in pieces. Customers had succeeded in dismantling the machine, but were unable to reassemble it. Or had cracked or broken a piece. This makes the repair more expensive.
Or machines were brought it that had been reassembled incorrectly and wouldn't work. Or worse had shorted out due to crimped or incorrect wiring.
I strongly suggest taking the vacuum to a repair shop that is familiar with the older Electrolux vacuums, in this case the plastic models.
