Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Playing assassins creed black flag on ps3 and sony switches off for no reason, just after it loaded up my save game and has corrupt the save file on black flag so it is saying I have to start a new game, really annoying when i'm half way thru completing the game, can anyone tell my why or help fix it?? its actually the second time this happened but at different percentage completions of the game and is the only 1 iv ever had trouble with, had my sony since they came out
Once a file is corrupt it cannot be saved. (I have dealt with numerous Fallout and Skyrim corrupt saves on Ps3 if I could have saved them I would) Assassins creed black flag is known to have some problems with corrupts but i thought that they were patched (check to see if its up to date)

If you aren't wiling to pay the servicing fee becasuse you've had it over a year or you didn't keep your reciept, then go ahead and either buy a new one, or go to xbox. issues like this happen with any kind of machinery that uses a disc drive.

Oh dear, i'm afraid to say you've got one of the 'fatal' error codes. The error you're encountering means there is a major problem with the blu-ray drive (you're PS3 is pretty much shot)...
The only thing you can do is ring Sony's tech support and arrange for a replacement console. If you are still under their one year warranty, you will get a replacement console free of charge
or if your console still works just dont play that game
if it keeps freezeing its becuse of the blu-ray driver :( you would need to try setting it to factory def's or if that does'nt work try rolling back the firmware upgrades........or just buy a xbox 360..

If you are having trouble accessing your save files this is a sign that you have corrupted data on your hard drive. The link below will help you address this. Note you may have to do a full format on the hard drive if the corruption is over the whole drive.
Let me know if you have any more problems or questions

Did you change TVs? I had that issue when I moved the PS3 into the bedroom which didn't have surround sound so I was only getting the front speakers. Reset your sound settings by automatic and it could well work again...
