Hi.
Simple thing you just check the outlet and make sure if there is any blockage in that outlet hose... After that also same problem means DRAIN MOTOR is complaint in your machine.. Need to change drain motor.

most common is lint build up. a good hot wash with a good bleach...check your manual for manufacturer's recomendation. There's various products available..bleach is the most in-expensive and works well. make sure its set on high water level...pause machine for 10-20mins...let me know how you get on

If it's really as you described, when draining at the same time filling up, then it's a problem in the main control board. You'll need some electronics knowledge to repair it, or just replace the main board

Hi,
No you just need to get the drain hose up higher...the water is siphoning out and is either caused by the end of the drain hose still in water and not having an air gap or the hose is not going up higher then the top of your washer...
Lifting the hose up should give you an air gap and get the hose high enough to stop the siphoning...

Put a gallon of nearly boiling water in it for 30 minutes and then do a wash with nothing in it. That should dissolve the washing powder debris. Then stop using powder and switch to HE liquid detergent.

If that doesn't fully fix it, try a proper descaling solution like CLR or Lime Away.

This happens on new installations usually. The drain hose must be higher than the highest fill height of the washer. If the drain hose is to low it will create a siphon effect and drain the machine. Next is the drain hose is to tight in the standpipe. The standpipe is your homes plumbing. If the drain hose does not have an air gap aroung it, it can cause a siphon effect and start draining your machine as it fills. If none of these are the problem and your drain pump is running at the same time it is filling you will need to replace the control. For top load machines follow this video and for front load machines follow the tutorial.

Your question is not easy to answer. An average washing machine is 8 kg. The smaller 6 kg will use less water and detergent, but you will be limited to 4 or 5 pair of jeans at one time...unless your children are small. A front loading machine may be a better choice for you. It can do very large loads, 12 kg, and still use less water and detergent than most top loaders, but be prepared to pay three times the price of a top loader.

LG washer
Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too. If all this does not work, check your pump for blockage.(ref manual re pump)
