I use zebra 330i with HP Thin Client PC, Sometimes Thin PC cannot recognize USB equipment. For solve this problem, Change USB port, Re-install printer driver, Power reset... but that problem occur sometimes... what are you think about?

Which USB port Damage because there are two USB port available.
One is Printer USB port or Sec is PC USB port.
If you are say PC USB port not working first you check it USB driver installed or not, or USB connect to motherboard or not. PC there are two side USB available one is front side and sec is back side. You connect only back side, because this USB connect to main board. So you connect only back side. If not working removed driver or installed driver.
Or if you are say printer USB then change cable or port or not solved only change option.

i will need to know, how the printer is connected, USB or network?
did come any error at lcd panel?
is the printer on at all times or went offline?
please reinstall driver or install diferent driver ( seagullscientific.com).
please let me know how it goes.

Try to use earphones, plug them in to phone audio connector....
try if it works..... if so, disconnect them and plug speakers.... and try again.... if doesn't work, go to audio advanced setup and check if speakers are not muted, or set up voicevolume level is too low. Play with that setup....

Also some computers can turn on or off speakers in Bios.

If problem will not be solved, try to use USB speakers

I have this issue whenever I set my default printer to a label printer. Use the other printer as the default and set to the zebra only when you need it.

If you have a USB port, your should be able to install a web cam.
after perusing the HP web site, I think that you should have no problem installing a USB port web cam provided you have security clearance to install devices.

When you connect a printer to your pc the operating system adds a virtual port. Your pc will typically have 3 physical usb ports but can have as many virtual ports as you have devices to connect to it.

1: Ensure that your printer has media loaded and is powered up and ready to print. Connect the USB cable. You should get a message on pc screen saying device (printer) found.

Open printer driver ( double click on the zebra printer icon - Start/control panel/printers & Faxes/) Click print test page. If it doesnt print you will see a printer icon with a red question mark.on your toolbar, double click on this. This will bring up a small window showing status of the print job, Click printer/properties/ports. Select the next free usb port and click apply. Drag the print status window so that you can see the message in the status window change from Error print to error Restarting. repeat trying each of your usb ports until printer works. start with the higheat usb with highest number and work your way down.

The major problem occurs ?????? You keep on trying installing but it will not succeed????????.

The solution change your usb cable and buy one good quality cable specified as USB 2.0 standard I hope your problem will be solved

Remember one thing never install the software while your printer is connect and live - disconnect it and install from the cd because hp installation is programmed accordingly that you have to install the driver first and it will ask to make it live and it automatically detect and register the port in your system.
