Question about Motorola Mobility W315 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Deleting How do I back space, and thus erase a single # or letter that I have entered. When I dial a #, sometimes I hit the wrong #, and then I can't figure out how to back space, ERASE, that #, and enter the correct one. My old phone just let you back space over the wrong entry, and then you could put the right entry in. Like on this computer, but not this new phone, and I can't find any information in the manual.

How do I change line spacing from double to single spacing? Whenever I commence to write a letter the second line is at double spacing as are all succeeding lines. How do I get it to single spaced lines?

Open a NEW, CLEAN document. Alter all the paragraph setting until you get them exactly as you want them.

Now the tricky part.

Save the document as a TEMPLATE and save to a folder you are familiar with. Give it a good name and below that on the dialog box, choose TEMPLATE (file type dotx)

Next time you need to type a letter with single spacing, open that template. When you go to save it, Word will prompt you for a file name as a docx, thus preserving your template for another day.

I am reinstalling Windows XP from the disk. Do I select Partition1 or Unpartitioned space?

Hi,

If your wanting to perform a clean install of XP and not a repair then your best off deleting the partition so it wipes over the existing operating system.

Click on partition1 and select the D key, follow the information on-screen to delete the partition. This is usually followed by the letter L and then the enter key.

When its done you should be left with 1 un-partitioned space. Click on the partition and hit the enter key like this >>>>
becb1a9.gif

From there it will start to load the files it needs to install XP.

Good luck and please don't hesitate to post back if you require anymore help or advice.

Regards.

My blitz doesnt text

Try this. Touch Keypad simulates a wireless phone keypad on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols just as if you were using a wireless phone keypad. Touch Keyboard simulates a 20-key QWERTY (typewriter) keyboard on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols similar to the way you would using a QWERTY keyboard. To use Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard:  In a program, tap the Input Selector arrow, and then tap Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard. To type lowercase letters, tap the keys on the dial pad or keyboard. To type a single uppercase letter, tap the Shift key and then tap the corresponding key. To type all uppercase letters, tap the Shift key twice. To change back to all lowercase letters, tap again. To enter a space after the word, tap the Space key. To start a new line, tap the Enter key. To backspace and delete a single character in any input mode, press the Back key. To open the Symbol pad, tap the Symbol key. To change the input mode:  Tap the Input mode key to switch to a different input mode: XT9 (predictive), Multitap (abc), or Numeric (123).

Hope this helps, let me know if this works or if I can help you with anything else.

When typing an email in Mail on aluminium Macbook in Mail errors

Hi Sherry, When did this start happening and how old is the MacBook?
Go to software update (apple menu) and see if there is a firmware update available for your mac. I have a recollection of an update to fix an oversensitive scratchpad and/or keyboard issue (but I might be wrong).
Does it only happen with mail?

Need to program numbers in speed dial (or replace lost manual).

More than one letter or character is available in each
of the number keys. For example, to enter the letter
“A,” press the 2 key once. For a “B,” press the same
key twice. For a “C,” press it three times.
• To add a space, press NEXT.
• To scroll forward or backward, use NEXT or
PREVIOUS.
• To erase the current digit, press ERASE.

Using T9 mode
T9 is a predictive text input mode that allows you to
key in any character using single keystrokes.

each key once for each letter.
For example, press [4], [3], [5], [5], and [6] to

T9 predicts the word that you are typing, and it
may change with each key that you press.
2. Enter the whole word before editing or deleting
characters.
3. When the word displays correctly, go to step 4.
Otherwise, press [0] to display alternative word
choices for the keys that you have pressed.
For example, OF and ME use [6] and [3].
4. Press [ ] to insert a space and enter the next
word.
Other T9 mode operations
• Press [1] to enter periods or apostrophes
automatically.
• Press [ ] to change case. Lower case (No
indicator), Initial capital ( ), and Capital lock ( )
are available.
• Press [ ] to insert a space.
• Press the Navigation keys to move the cursor.
• Press [C] to delete characters one by one. Press
and hold [C] to clear the display.
Adding a new word to the T9 dictionary
This feature may not be available for some languages.
1. Enter the word that you want to add.
2. Press [0] to display alternative words for your key
presses. When there are no more alternative
words, Spell displays on the bottom line.
3. Press <Spell>.
4. Enter the word you want using ABC mode and
