I can not hear on my headset but it does not show the muted light

There is a mute option on your phone and your headset. have you confirmed you haven't muted the headset?

Make sure volume is turned up and not muted. Test headset, can you hear anything?. What program are you using to communicate with others? Check settings in that program.

Try to unmute the headset. This may be your problem. The mute function is enabled through the volume buttons. Simply tap both volume buttons at the same time until you hear a mute tone. The mute tone when unmuting the call will be a descending tone. When you tap both volume buttons, if you hear a descending tone you have just disabled the mute function and your problem is solved. If the mute tone is ascending tones you have just enable the mute function and this was not the issue. If this is the case consult your user manual or contact Motorola for trouble shooting.

Could be that the headset has been muted by accident. To unmute, tap both volume buttons at the same time until you hear a tone or kind of beep.

The red light indicates that the headset mute is on. Press the center insert on the right side headset and the light should go away and the distant end should now be able to hear you.

Il check about the mute button but can you test the headset on another device while I do that.

Where are the solutions for these problems? I don't see a fix for anything on fixya. What gives?

Push both volume buttons at once to turn Mute off. You should hear two beeps, ascending in pitch to indicate mute is off. If they go down in pitch mute is being turned on.
