There is babies in the tail pipe

There is babies in the tail pipe

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

Well, get the babies out of there!!! If you need to drive it, start it up and blow the babies out of there or make fried babies. Babies also have a nest which can prevent you from starting it up ...Then, you need to remove the exhaust to do baby removal manually (not covered in manuals). Better than cat splattered all over the place under the hood...I've done that a few times!!!

1999 Blazer ZR2. Replacing muffler and tail pipe. Can not pull apartl flange on muffler and exhaust pipe. Bolts broke off and still can't break. Don't have air impact chisel. Would heat help.

The auto store probably sells a big chisel and a 4 lb hammer? If your going to replace anyway, use a hack saw. In my younger days, I've cut many a tail pipe with a hack saw. So a new muffler and tail pipe will have new flanges? I can't see anything from here.

My 2005 gmc canyon just started blowing smoke out tail pipe but it doesnt do it everytime i start it. is this bad?

Possibly a leak in the head gasket. Take out the plugs and see if they are water wet. Run a compression check.

My tail pipe has fallen off at the exhaust manifold, I'm pretty sure this isn't a simple fix but would be happy for any suggestions

The TAIL pipe is at the rear of the car behind the muffler at the very rear (hence the word TAIL) You need to check the HEAD pipe. there are bolts and a gasket there, so have a shop check it out, or the dealer.

HELLO I HAVE A 98 CHEVY MALIBU N IT HAS AROUND 200K ON IT. I KNOW THE CAR HAD ALOT OF MILES BUT IT HAS A BURNT SMELL COMMING OUT THE TAIL PIPE. IT DOESNT SMOKE AT ALL JUST CURIOUS AS TO WHAT IS CAUSING IT

this smell from tail pipe may be burning coolant, does it smell sweet, if so have head gasket checked. when a car has problems with something from tail pipe. it is usually the head gasket that is bad.

Where is a catalyic converter located on a 97 monte carlo?

on most cars they are located under the car just a little ways back from the engine put the car on ramps and secure the rear end with a brick or something under the tire you know the muffler is back by the tail pipe so all you have to do if follow that to the front and it looks like a baby muffler then you have found the catalyic converter

Tail Pipe Replacement on a 72 VW Beetle

Heat the area by the muffler with a torch. Try not to heat the tail pipes themselves. Then take a pair of channel locks and wiggle them out.
