F2 wont bring up system bios computer sounds 3 beeps when starting no keyboard control or display

Hi,

3 beeps means you have a faulty or very dusty memory module.

You will need to open up the case and clean the interior out of dust. Remove the memory modules and clean the brass contacts and the slots the memory clips into.
Then reseat the memory and try to boot the machine again. If you still have the same 3 beeps you will need new memory for the machine.

Hp pavillion dv6000 wont boot, switching on all the lights and giving 3 beeps, what do i do

Three beeps ususal indicates a memory error.

If you have 2 ram modules in your system, remove one and try to start up. If this fails, replace the single stick with the other. If neither of them work and you still get the 3 beeps, it may be the motherboard that is damaged.

I long + 3 short beeps or 3 short + 1 long beeps indicates memory problem.
The RAM module/s may need reseating to re-establish proper electrical contact.
If it still doesn't boot up then :-
Get the RAM module/s may be faulty, test the module/s in another laptop or get your friendly computer shop to test them.

PC wont boot

1-3-3-1 Autosize DRAM

It is a memory problem.
Have you added new memory?
How many sticks of memory does your laptop have?
If it has 2, take one out and try to boot the unit. If it does not work, switch the memory and boot again.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Wont boot up at all.

3 Beeps is a Power on self test alert. General this is a card isn't inserted properly or maybe is an AGP card in a PCI slot
