I have a fossil CH2879 but due to sweat it stinks now , is there any solution other that replacing it ?

You are going to have to remove the battery to find out which one you need. For instructions on how to do this see: http://www.mademan.com/mm/fossil-watch-battery-replacement-guide.html. You can buy the battery at: http://shop.batterymart.com/search#w=fossil%20ch2599%20watch%20battery. Replacing a Fossil battery is delicate and tricky. Fossil recommends that you send it to a shop that specializes in Fossil watch battery replacements.

Unfortunately it is a part of wear and tear of the that material. The longer you used it with an acidic sweat it will continue to discolor. Try washing it with mild soap and water after every used. That's also my problem before with my watch.

fossil watches are very temperamental when it comes to there insides. did you have fossil do the band or someone else? also they sometimes have corrosion from the seals not lasting.

You have to have a tool to unscrew the back of the watch. I figured this out the hard way. I suggest taking it to a jewler for after I replaced my battery, the stinking thing still did not work. This sounds like a commom problem as I read more about them. Hope this helped.
