SOURCE: proform treadmill belt won't stay centered.

Adjust the tension on the right side rear using an allen wrench. Try 1/4 turn clockwise( should tighten). then run tread mill for 30 sec. to see if it centers itself. repeat again if not. if its to tight then turn the left side in a 1/4 turn

SOURCE: I've bought a Proform 900 Crosstrainer but it did

For the paper-version ($7.95), use this link:

http://www.online-owners-manual.com/pfccel45011.html

They don't offer a downloadable manual for the exact model, but offer a comparable model's manual here:

Hope this helps!

ICON CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS- INCLINE
1) Press the Stop and the Speed Up keys down while inserting the safety key. If this doesn’t work, click on the help topic entitled “Alternate Calibration Codes” for key sequence instructions to enter calibration.
2) Press the Stop key one time. The Time window should read EP:2P. Some newer models may also say FP, Pass, or the like. This means that it passes the EPROM test.
3) Press either incline key and the incline will calibrate automatically.
4) THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP BECAUSE YOU WILL GET AN ERROR MESSAGE IF THIS STEP IS SKIPPED.After completing calibration of incline, press the Stop key and then remove the safety key.

Ford 2003 Expedition is stalling when I idle at the stop lights.

There has been issues with this vehicle having a power cable rub against an AC tube. This rubs of the protective coating and causes the bare wire to arc out. Follow your red wires from the battery to the alternator and as far as it takes from there to find if any cables are rubbing. If you find one, you can either get it replaced or put wire guard or some foam around it like a pipe wrap.

The belt always moves to the right side

your roller ajustments are loose, loosing all the rollers front and back, re aline belt to center, tighten front roller first then tighten rear roller, Rear roller has 2 seperate ajusting allen bolts, 1 on each side, count the turns on each bolt when turning them inward, keep the count even turns on both allen bolts

How can I disassemble the Eureka Altima Brush Roll (#60844-7) for cleaning? Thank you, Jerry in Irving, TX

You can remove the two screws in the top cover above the roller. Then lift off the top cover exposing the roller. You can then pull the roller out, and clean out the cradles that hold the end caps. The square end caps can also be pulled off the bearings at the ends of the rollers. I had a lot of stuff wrapped around mine creating a lot of drag, but the bearings were just fine once everything got cleaned out. Just remember which end cap is which, cause they're different for each end.

Belt skips

take the cover off, if the front drive roller continues to turn when the running belt stops, tension the running belt by using the rear adjustment screws. One full turn on each side should do it. If the front roller stops turning but the motor doesn't, tension the drive belt by adjusting the motor back.

Loud noise coming from DC07

Sometimes the brush bar may be slightly bent and has been rubbing against the yellow housing part (at the hole where the belt is) and has melted part of it off, the part which holds the brushes in place. The noise may the bar vibrating against the yellow part because they are now loose. Unfortunately you may have to replace both parts.

Sounds like the tub is rubbing against something

Your problem sounds like drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication.
When you have the drum out you can check for rub marks on the drum also.
If you have a front loading machine, Unplug the dryer, remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt, remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers.
Check your rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them replace them.
If they don't then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the roller with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in. This should solve you noise problem.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Belt is slipping

your macnine needs some maintenance. slippage on the proform is usually due to a worn out front roller and a worn motor driving the belt. both can be replaced. or you may want to find a good used one as many get no use before the optomististic owner decides to sell.
