Question about Magic Chef MCWC44DZ Wine Cooler
Temp set to 50 on top and 55 on the bottom. does not change, not even by one degree. when I raise the temp it stops running until it reaches the new setting and then keeps on going. it doesn't rest
SOURCE: I have a magic chef
OK as long as you used a hair drier, and not a screw driver to defrost this machine, you should be fine, it shoudl take no more then 24-36 hours to regain the correct temp, this being said, not real comfortable with the over the internet diag of a unit that potentially "keeps people alive"

SOURCE: Oven is not reaching proper temperatures
You most likely have either a faulty thermistor or heating element that will need to be replaced.

SOURCE: Refrigerator and freezer not cooling adequately
the ptc overload on the compressor is defective, replace this and it will again cool properly
