Error. Over Current - Peak current exceeded

Possible causes:
Motor has a short - Phase to phase or phase to ground.
Motor cable damaged/defective.
Motor cables too long.
Acceleration/deceleration ramps too short.
Damaged output phase of inverter.
EMI

It sounds like you may have a thermal issue causing the fault trigger of the E.OC error. This coould be an issue with the motor or the inverter getting too hot. Once the system trips into error it is allowed to cool a little and you can run again for a while.

What is the actual part# and serial # of the inverter that you are having problems with?

Since they system has been running, I would not suggest aultering the voltage/hz curves in the inverter because of an E.OC error.

Horizon CST3.6 stopped while running. No power to entire unit.

hi,
There is a circuit braker near the main power ON switch. If it is in OFF position put it in to ON. Then start the treadmill. If the circuit breaker again trip to OFF then the motor controll IGBT is faulty. You have to replace the IGBT or the motor control board. The IGBT will look like one in the picture.

I can get no responsive changes on my machine, with the control panel... I CAN GET IT TO RUN, HOWEVER ONLY AT ONE SPEED...

hi,
If the teradmill is running in the highest speed then the motor control IGBT is faulty. if so you have to replace the IGBT. IGBT controls the speed of the treadmill. It will look like one in the picture.

When I put the key in, the treadmill belt goes really fast. Its like its stuck and I can't turn it down the knob keeps popping off. Do I need to get it serviced.

hi,
You have to check the Driver circuit board for the motor. There is motor control IGBT Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) in this board .If the IGBT is short then the treadmill will try to run at high speed without setting any value or witout pressing the start button. You have to check the OHMS between the seocnd and third of lead of the IGBT. If it shows less than 100 Ohms then the IGBT is short and you have to replace the same. Also you have to check the connection to the control pannel. Is there is any loose conatct. Remove the connection in the motor control board which go to the control pannel and reconnect it. Also check the speed sensor. In most of the treadmill you can find the speed sensor near the motor pully. Remove the speed sensor and clean it and the refix it. Remember one thing remove the power of the treadmill and leave it for 30 minutes then only oppen the treadmill. Because there is high voltage storage capacitors in the motor control board which will hold charge for some time even after the power is disconnected. i ahve added the picture of IGBT for your refference

ok

I have a image 17.5 s when i press start the treadmill belt will start and then turn off. i already check the motor with a 18v battery and it work find. could this be the motor control?

hi,
First of all you hve to check the speed sensor near the motor pully. Clean the speed sensor and check the treadmill. I the problem remains then You have to check the Driver circuit board for the motor. From your naration the motor is ok . Why the circut breaker trips because, if the IGBT( insulated gate bipolar transistor) is short then, when you press the start button the motor will try to drain a high current from the power line.IGBT controll the voltage to the motor. When it get shorted the applied voltage will go to the motor without regulation. Also you have to check the rectifier diode. The IGBT will look like one in the picture. Check the ohms between the seond and third pins of the IGBT. It should be above 1 kohm. Remember one thing remove power before oppening working in the treadmill. Because it have live area all over the driver board.
ok

GA-G1975X OC FAILURE

reset the cmos either using the jumper if it has one or popping the battery out, then redo your bios on boot without overclocking to start then slowly adjust your fsb rebooting each time. if you remember the last setting before it crashed do not go that high. (remember to unplug the power cord before clearing the cmos)
