It's mean your catridges overflow even from brand new catridges. After  several prints or right after you refilled the catridges. Check to see if ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the catridge is located.

Solution:
use  kleenex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder.
The refill ink works very well if you let it sit 24 hrs. Then before you print anything, you should run align  catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it  looks and away you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel.

Try and see if it's work for you. Good luck......

Error code 1203

Check to see if ink is smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the cartridge is. Use a tissue with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contacts on the holder. Print the test page to see how it looks. Be sure not to leave any tissue on those holder contacts.

Try that and see if it works for you.

Error Message 1203??

These steps are for a Lexmark 4200, but I suspect they will work for your printer as well:

Cartridge Error: 1203

Your print cartridge has a short.

1. Press Power to turn your All-In-One off.
2. Unplug your All-In-One from the wall outlet.
3. Plug in your All-In-One.
4. Reinstall the cartridges.

If this does not resolve the problem, see More troubleshooting options, or replace your cartridges.

Error 1203

You can try testing your Printer with another Print Cartridge and if the error message repeats, you should contact Service Center as then there would be a Hardware Problem.
