if that error occurs while attempting the recovery, typically it indicates a read write error on the hard drive. replace the hard drive and see if the recovery finishes.

(although i have only seen this problem with failing hard drives)

While I am trying to scan the images, I am getting the error Code[ffff:0024] & I am unable to scan anything from Epson 1500 model. While I switch on the scanner, it sounds lot from the scanner for continuous 2 minutes. I couldn't get scanned anything ... please
give me the solution.

As far i know this problem 0024 is concern about ur power adaptor is not passing the right voltage to scanner [ffff:0024] is power adaptor error . change the power adaptor to its genuine power adaptor , ur problem is solved

I want the driver defination

while i am trying to scan the images .. i am getting the error code like Code[ffff:0024] while warming up the scanner, besides a sound from the scanner making it power off (light inside the scanner goes off ) so that i could not get scanned anything ... what will be the reason ? please suggest me the trouble shoot kaarthik
