My "@" sign will only work if l press 2 then the Cltrl key.

Its nothing mate all you got to do is change yr language from english us to english uk

Sounds like your contacts on your keyboard are dirty. Take some compressed air and blow it underneath your keyboard. Give it a good cleaning. See if that solves your problem.

My ge 98615 wireless keyboard will not work


Have you tried pressing the windows button? My boyfriend was playing around with mine and kept pressing it, the button between cltrl and alt and it started working.... hope that helps.

reinstall or update the keyboard drivers, if that doesn't help, time for a new keyboard.

I want to type @ sign from my laptop cq60 but when ever is press the shift key and the number 2 key it gives me ( " ) - sign shown in the bracket . advice whats wrong..


You need to hit the shift key on the right side of laptop and the the @ sign at the same time.
Works different then a desktop.

it's a simple first of all u need to fond funtion key called FN it's in some different color. then press FN key then shift key then press @ as 2 key it's help u..:)

The @ sign does not work on my hp keyboard


when you press the @ sign do you get " if so @ sign is got by pressing shift & 2 if you get different symbol look through your keyboard for that one

I had the same problem. When I pressed shift and that comma key I got a " instead of a @.

I looked to see what on the leyboard you normally press to get a " and that's the number 2 key.

Tried pressing shift and the 2 key and hey presto, I got a @.

So it looks like @ and " have swapped places.

So shift and 2 for a @!

@ sign on my laptop key bard


I have an acer computer too. I had to press the (ctrl) (bottom left) and then the (Alt) botton (beside the space bar) and the number 2 at the same time to get back the @ sign then it should work normal from hear on in .

uninstall the driver and reinstall it.
goto:
start> control panel > admin settings> computer managment> device managment> human interface (keyboard joystick mouse etc...)
only uninstall the keyboard but realise when it is un installed it wont work! untill you reboot the computer and reinstall it.
