Possible cause could be a faulty or loosely connected USB accessories or Hard drive.
If you are not a technical person, I shall provide you step by step procedure that will assist you in resolving the issue or at-least finding out the cause.
Safety Tip :- Before disconnecting any device from XBOX, please make sure you have switched off and disconnected all the power cables from XBOX.
Unplug all USB-devices (like thumb drives, cooling fans, battery chargers, controllers) and memory units and turn on XBOX.(If it works then the possible explanation for this issue would be that one of these devices was loosely connected.)
If this does not fix the issue, you will have to remove the HDD from the XBOX and reseat it(Plug it back.). (To remove the HDD , press the button on the HDD and remove the HDD, To remove the HDD from a "Slim" Xbox 360, open the HDD door and pull the HDD out of the console. If there is no HDD, that means the your XBOX is defective.
Well here are few solutions: 1. You might have a modded(Flashed) console, which microsofts new fix destroys your profile/HDD/Console, so everything is gone to waste. 2. Replace your HDD, there might be a problem with it 3. Just buy a small Memory instead of a whole HDD to replace. 4. Buy a new 360.
Troubleshoot this problem on xbox. Sometimes you need to leave the xbox360 until the computer has fully loaded and is connected the the internet. It could be the cable your using may have a faulty conenction.
there's a possible hard drive issue on this.
try the ff:
-turn off your xbox
-remove your hdd from the xbox
-turn on the xbox while the hdd is removed
-if you're still getting the sme error code, your xbox needs to be repaired/replaced
-=hope that your xbox is still under warranty=- ^^
this only happens with gears of war 2?? ...if so your unlucky and got yourself a faulty disc..or if you watch a copied dvd that messes it up and you'll need a new one.
Will the HDD need any formatting?
