Have you got something caught in it? Is it still under warranty? I am guessing but the mechanism inside the base should drop when you push to twist. Check is this is happening. If not then that may be the problem
Do not try repair it manually,as its a concern of electronic gadget,& its hazardous.Get it done from a service agent or instead prefer ton buy a new one.I would suggest Magic bullet blender nbr1201.The Magic Bullet consumes less power than Magic Nutri Bullet when you compare Nutribullet Vs Magic Bullet, but it is more when it comes to the price factor. Though it is not that powerful, you can get Magic Bullet at much cheaper price than Magic Nutri Bullet.Go to the link to know. Nutribullet And Magic Bullet Difference
Sounds like the extractor bearings may be seizing due to rust. This YouTube vide should help see if it’s the same thing and how to fix it! Good luck https://youtu.be/Iw6VXRSHyNM
I took it apart by removing the rubber spindle and three small screws. Then soak it in vinegar and rinse to remove food gunk. Lastly, re-lube with cooking oil (I used olive oil) by pouring onto back shaft and spinning the blades to suck in the oil. Reassemble. I still have to replace mine as the spindle is loose due to the bearings being worn out but at least it is useable again until then.
Mine also leaked from day 1. I just read in the manual to first place the bottom and blade assembly on the counter, then seat the gasket around the blade assembly, making sure it is just under the lip of the blade piece (careful, you have to maneuver around the blades). Then place the jar on the assembly and screw in tightly. This worked and I have no more leaks. This is different than other blenders where you place the gasket on the jar and then attach the bottom. It is a poor design, but after what I paid for it, I am glad to be able to use it and not just trash it.
