Error 49 relates to the print head drive voltage. It may just need the flat ribbon cables that connect the head to the main pcb reseating, but equally it may need the print head replacing (most likely). An outside chance that the main pcb will need replacing.

The 49 error code normally means ambient temperature too low. Is your printer in a very cold location? If so, try taking the printer to a warmer location and leaving for a few hours to warm all the components, then power on and try a nozzle (print quality) test from the maintenance menu.

- Machine off - Switch on the machine while holding down the “menu” button until all the leds are flashing on/off. Now you are in “maintenance” mode. - press 80 - press the “mono start” button several times until you see “purge: xxxx” - press “2783” in order to reset the purge counter. You will see: “purge:0000” - press “99” to exit the maintenance mode
