Half of screen dont work - Dell 2300MP Multimedia Projector

The display strip is not properly seated in the connector base. That is a hardware problem so dont think of a software error.

You have to change the Screen

the LCD seems to be damaged, check on Ebay, type in the exact model and you should find it. it has to be replaced.

dont put it in oven!
sounds like water damage,
remove battery & place it screen down under a lamp.

the heat will evaporate the moisture in phone.
heat on battery is a good way to half life then.

take it your phone has been dropped a couple times? lol..

Does the screen work normally? either way if you havent fixed this yet (seeing as this is 23 days old as i post) your going to have to take your phone apart. you can try the easy way and take the bottom half apart but dont try to take the screen off. there is a flimsy ribbon cable that runs from the top corner of the bottom half through the hinge that is easier than heck to break. after you get the bottom half apart try pressing down on the plug of it to see if it is loose then try your phone again.

the reason i asked if the screen is working is because that one cable usually handles everything in the top half and when one thing in an electrical device (expecially a small one that has a bunch of tiny components) doesn't work there can be no telling what else will go with it

yeeah, i dont really liike this phone q: it's like really slow, & doesnt send like wtf mann? & like yeeah, i dropped my phone, ONCE, and its like a white screen, & wont get off. grrr, like i took out the batery and its just like "i dont wanna work & just get cheeah mad"

The software of the phone must have gone corrupt. Take it to the authorized person and may also have to change your scren curcuit or the whole software.

Solution:

1. IF you have R4 card in your DS, take it out.

2. Go to Settings (Little icon on the bottom of the touch screen)

3. Select Pink button

4. Select "GBA Mode" (pink button on the right)

5. Select "Touch screen"


NOTE:

This is mainly affective for GBA games, not DS games unfortunately.
If you are really that desperate to play DS games properly, then either hope you can still claim it on warranty and/or buy a brand new DS (maybe even the new DSi).

-Yes you can reseat the lcd cable, follow some steps on your manuals ,If you dont have manula download the manuals from support.dell.com use your service tag. after reseating the lcd cable and still the screen is half ,try external monitor if the desktop is displaying properly may be you can consider that the lcd screen back light is damaged.try replacing the whole LCD or bring the whole system to a local store and repair the lcd back light.
