Just installed yesterday. Disappointed that new faucet spigot drips. Is there a simple solution to stop dripping? I really donation' want to have to remove whole faucet and return to store.
I've installed quite a few of these from the big box stores that leak. There are 2 rubber pieces inside the valve body that act as seats. The seats are what turn the water on and off as you move the handle. These rubbers need to be replaced. You can buy a delta repair kit, which will contain these parts. Where the faucet is new, it might be easier to bring it back
make sure that when you turn on water move handle up and down real fast to clear all debrie from lines and seats...then make sure you push handle straight down in center...because these faucets ride on a ball...they must set straight down to seal...you can also try if this does not work...take apart and look at seats and see if they are clogged with trash or nicked...if so replace...you can also try and pull springs and strecth them out then replace under seats...that will give you a better seat..good luck..

Often rust or minerals will scratch or nick the rubber seats and they may need replaced. I usually run some water into a bucket or bowl before hooking up the new faucet to clear the lines. Also rather than stretch the springs as suggested on this post you can tighten the white ring under the handle. This will increase the pressure on the seats and springs, possibly getting a better seal. Just don't tighten it to tight because the handle will be hard to operate. Hope this helps.

Yes, It can be fixed but it isn't a washer. There is a replacement stem for the faucet . They are readily available at most big box stores and possibly the local hardware store. Bring your faucet model number with you.

try tightening the nut that attaches the flex line to the pull out spout

sounds like you need to replace the valve seats. if you shut the water off and remove the handles you will see the valves. you have to remove them and under that you should see these little black things. they come out but have springs under them so be careful. the black things are the valve seats. i would start by replacing them
