I have a Xplod XM-554ZR Car Amp and the green light is blinking it worked just befor and now i have no sound

Try disconecting all speakers from the amp, turn it on after and if it stays on red it sounds like it had kicked the bucket. if it stays green start from their and check all of your wires for shorts (speaker wires) again. hope this helps...

Hi, disconnect all speakers from unit and try again - if red light still shows then your amp has died.
If the light goes green, then start testing for shorted speaker/wiring. This includes speaker wiring to vehicle shorts - there should be an o/c reading on your meter

Depending on your subwoofer, it might be be able to handle the sub.

This sounds like you are having a problem with the ground wire. When the amp is not properly grounding the amp will loose power the light will flicker and your speakers will stop working.

Make sure the ground wire for the amp (the black wire) is grounded correctly. The end of the wire or connector should be firmly grounded under a nut for example.

open it n there is a red wire look at the end of it n u would see a black celinder with a with a white strip on it change that part if it is burn

sounds like maybe a speaker short, try unhooking your speakers and then powering up your amp, if it then powers up with the speakers unhooked try hooking up each speaker one by one untill the amp goes back into protection and then you have your bad speaker.

there are two nobs on the back of the amp they have to be turned inorder to ajust the woffer vol. make sher its not in power safe mode that will be a red light insted of a green one

something is shorted in the circuit, or your subs. unhook the subs first and try it again, if it is still in protect then it is most likely the output transistors.

try disconecting ur battary for 2 min and try it again
