Turn off your pc and connect another monitor. If the external monitor works fine then the screen cable is damaged or your laptop's LCD needs replacement.

you lcd tv maybe have problem in inverter board if black screen? & maybe t-con board bad if lcd screen come on light up. maybe that could help? good luck!

Display blank on lg cookie buttons light up and still ring when reciveing phone calls or text, but no display scren is black

It seems that the LCD is problematic. You need to get it repaired by an expert near you. OR if you are an expert and can handle it then get your LCD screen from these site:
Remember, the issue can also be the flex cable that is attached with the LCD but hard to repair so initially try to get it repair by some repairshop or get the LCD . One of the sites is given below.

My camera turns on however the screen is black it takes pictures i just have to point and shoot but i cannot see on the screen exactly what i am taking. I then have to go onto my computer and put them on...

if your screen does not display any figures , numbers or icons then the LCD screen is dead. If you look closely at the LCD scren and fine cracks or lines on it then i advise ou to take it to arepair shop for replacement.

LCD monitor have Vertical lines and black colour become greenish

normally the 19" resolution can support up to 1280*1024, but if it comes with vertical lines in full screen, it might indicate the panel is no longer to work and probably it's time to replace new one.

Black colour displaying become greenish and narrow vertical lines

Most LCD monitors have a default refresh rate of 60 Hz. Older monitors also have limited resolution. Please check your display settings and ensure you're not using a refresh rate higher than 60, or a resolution higher than what it supports. If either one is the case, you're lucky the LCD still works.

The scren is black i cant see any thing

For the second problem, can you get the white writing before Windows kicks in? If so, you will have to hit F8 and start Windows in VGA mode so you can see it. Then you can adjust the graphic display. It could very well be your graphics card is displaying something out of your monitor's range.

Lcd flickers

hi

the 400d has a sensor just below the optical view finder
it detects when you face is near the view finder and turns off the lcd scren

the display button (top left) can manually turn the lcd on/off

refer page 101 of the manual to modify this setting
