According to West Bend, not cleaning it, especially the heating unit well, will cause this. Here's the link for your manual. Go to page 3. This manual covers 3 models, including #33600. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/189911/West-Bend-13500.html#manual

Brews good hot coffee but warming plate has stopped heating! Are replacement elements readily available or could it be a fuse...??

The DCC-1200 has only one element, that both heats the water for brewing and keeps the carafe warm. If you're brewing coffee then the element is fine and the suspect part is the Thermistor. Another forum suggested this was a Vishnay NTCLG100E22245B, available from DigiKey (their part # BC2467), connected to the control board with thin yellow wires. The same forum suggested that this thermistor should test at 220K ohms at room temperature, dropping to 20K at about 220F.

My keurig special edition brews pretty hot, I do add creamer and sugar, but will only stay hot for no more than 8 to 10 minutes, is this normal?

yeah, that is normal. some keurig models allow you to adjust the brew temperature. If yours does, I'd crank it up a few notches. If yours does not have that feature, you may need to use the old microwave trick.

Is our West Bend 33600 commercial urn 100 cup 1950193 supposed to have a spring at the top of the stem to hold the basket tight against the lid?

As far as I know it does not have a spring. (At least the one we have where I work doesn't have a spring and it seems to work fine without one. But the urn was there before I started, so maybe at one time it had one.) Replacement parts are available here, and they list a stem but don't mention any spring.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using Fixya!

We have a CBC-1600 10 cup coffeemaker. after brewing the coffeemaker beeps and turns off. The hot plate part of the coffeemaker will not stay on for longer than 5 minutes.

The CBC-1600 is designed differently than you might expect. The stainless steel, insulated carafe is designed to keep the coffee hot instead of a hot plate keeping a glass carafe hot. Some people like that style better (including me). Some people - like my dad - don't think it keeps the coffee hot enough.

Your coffee maker is working exactly as designed. The carafe itself is designed to keep the coffee at the same temperature as it was brewed.

Bunn CWTF15-APS Unable to hold 195 at the brew head

Yes it is possible to go the the next larger element.
Yes if the machine was plumbed there would be a difference in the way it brewed the water temp. if you look at the end hose in the pan from the solenoid, it takes a while for it to pour out 3liters.
Try using a different sprayhead(if yo;u are using a 6 hole try getting a 5 hole. That will constrain the flow of water a little more allowing the element more time the heat the water.

Coffe does not stay hot in carafe

The wavy lines indicate the carafe pre-heat function. When it is ON the red light blinks for several minutes and the goes on solid. It doesn't start brewing until the light is solid red.
Mine also doesn't seem to keep hot also.

Brewing cycle

The thermostat is proably faulty and makes the machine cut off early. Or it could be that your machine is getting too hot and the thermostat is cutting it off at the temperature when it is supposed to. No repairable parts inside. But a new one. Do not hold start button in. Machine can get very hot.
