Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse

1 Answer

Wont work! I have just received a logitech cordless keyboard and mouse with my new acer pc but it won't work. I have had to reconnect my old logitech keyboard and mouse and that works fine! Do I plug it in the same port as my old one? I do not understand why it does not work. I did not get any software with it. Would I need this to set it up. I did with the old one.I would be so grateful for any advice as I live in the Canary Islands and my Spanish is appalling so trying to get a solution here is nigh impossible for me!Thanks in advance for your help.

Cordless keyboard and mouse

I would first try to see whether the new mouse works with old receiver.
You press button on receiver, then rapidly press the correponding "button" on mouse (usually located under the mouse, you must use the tip of a pen to press on it) I have been able to use different logitech mouses with the same receiver.
However, if you old and new mice use different communication protocols then you will have to use both receivers...

Can't get acer desktop to recognize logitech cordless mouse

Yes, you need to install the Logitech transmitter for your cordless mouse. The acer transmitter uses a different frequency. You could try pressing the connect button on both the existing transmitter and mouse but that's not likely to work with different manufacturers.

Every kind of mouse won't work!

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
