SOURCE: how to program tax on a casio te 8700f register

Hi.
I have never heard of an 8700. I have info on the 8000 and 8500 so it may be similar to one of these. If it has never been programmed to use tax before, then I will need to know how your tax system operates. Do you use add-on, or add-in tax, how many rates? Are all PLUs taxed, or just some?

Key to Program enter 3 subtotal 1 tax pgm (tax rate with decimal) cash tend subtotal.
ie 7.35%
3subtotal1 tax pgm 7.35 cash tend subtotal

No need to program it. It is enabled by default. For a percentage discount, just type the percentage eg 10 then press %- button. For amount discount, type the dollar amount eg 2000 (no decimal) then press - button.

You have a digit limit set on the cash button. It has been programmed to allow only a small amount to be paid via cash. You need to look up the codes for digit limit (HALO) in your manual and it will guide you through the processes for setting a digit limit on the cash button. I have two Casio TK7000 that I need to send all my programing information that I did in one cash register into the other can someone please help me and let me know how to do this?
U need a Casio Communication cable:

Method :
1. Plug the Casio Cable into TK7000(with program) Com1 (It can be found at the side of the cash register body)
2. Plug the Casio Cable into TK7000(without program) Com1
3. Do the following steps at the TK7000 (with program) :
3a. Key turn to PGM
3b. Press [7] [Subtotal]
3c. Press [8] [0] [Subtotal]
3d. Press [9] [0] [0] [Ca/Amt Tend]
4. Press [Subtotal]
5. Key turn back to "reg1"
