The picture is curved and distorted with the pictures appearing double
If that's a dlp unit they are garbage ive had two and both died in same manner in less than a year one the bulb blew on in three months after purchase then went blank and started making a high pitched squealing sound had to argue with rca
cust support after repair shop said they could not fix it rca finally sent me a new one but with less features after i argued with them for another three that one did the same thing after three months now rca wont even talk to me and ive got a 100lbs paperweight that does nothing i was told it was the light engine at a cost of around a grand for part so don't waste your money on a repair shop mine is still sitting there blank and i understand this is a common problem from checking the web just roll it in the back yard spend you money on one that will work im going lcd this time and i do houseld appliances not tvs so dont worry about rating me i like to pass this info on every chance i get just to help my friends at rca

I have the same tv. Had repair man come to my home in late april. Said it is the power convergence board. $225 for parts and labor I was told. Bad thing is part was supposed to arrive mid-may,then mid-june and now mid-july. He say's part is on back order. I'm actually going to contact RCA soon to find out if this is true. This seems to be a common problem with this particular T.V

it can be replaced with a t0220 stile case dioded 220k ohm go to nte look up and do a search on the rca part #

i have the same problem curved picture and double vison
its like its 3 d kinda. its in 3 colors and everything is way out of wack. the colors are green red and blue.
I have the same problem after hooking a video game to the TV. Perfect focus seemed to fix until last time. Can't get it to reset??
I have the exact same problem on my unit. The distortion is also left to right. The only time I have a problem with left/right is on the DVI input. When I run the same cable box into the component input, the picture is centered. The top/bottom cutting off problem is present no matter which input is used.

I heard a snap and a flicker everyday this week on the bottom part of my sceen and it did it today again but then the picture came back and is only clear in the middle, and it is curved and you do see the 3d thing people are talking about
There is 3D shadowing in the 3 colors.. Practically a new tv too
