Check its speaker/s first. If found good, check and replace damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit, or, replace the sound board as card basis. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

SOURCE: sound

You may want to check to make sure that the tv output select (Menu > Options > Output Select > enter ) is set to fixed and not variable. Also. bypass the HD box and run the coaxial straight into the tv from the wall. If you have sound chances are you need to reset your cable box.

SOURCE: Sharp Aquos LC-65D64U Picture Quality

You need to change your TV's settings and enhancements. Directly from the store and out of the box, the settings are adjusted for easiest sell in the store. That means that:
Your contrast is cranked to 100. Move this down to 50 to 60.
Your brightness may also be cranked up high. Lower it to a level nearer the middle range but not so dark as to lose detail in the shadows.
Your TV is set on "Dynamic" or "Vivid" mode. Pick "natural" or "normal" or standard.
Your sharpness is at least on, if not cranked up. Turn sharpness down or off, and the same with "Edge Enhancement" and "VSM", all to off.

Lastly, I bet you upgraded size and you are now sitting too close to the TV. Roughly, if you are sitting closer than 130 inches (about 11 foot) you might do some rearranging or save some money and get a smaller TV.

SOURCE: My Sharp Aquos TV has stopped responding to remote control(s)

Unplugging my TV for 15 seconds (longer actually - at least a minute) made the remote and the satellite TV remote both work again with the TV.  Thanks for the tip!

Sharp aquos flat tv sound can not be control with remote, remote okay

I am not certain what you mean by remote is OK but the way remotes work with TV sets and cable boxes is that the remote sends channel info to the cable box and sound control to the TV set. Is the sound on full blast? Some cable boxes allow you to adjust the sound too. Without more information it is difficult to know where you are having a problem.

Sharp Aquos LC60LE632U 60" TV 1080p. LCD HDTV. Great picture. Except, there is one green line, running vertical down the far right of the screen. I'm suspecting that it may be the TCON Board.

I had a similar problem with my Sharp Aquos 60" LED and it was the T-Con Board. Simple to replace and can be purchased in the neighborhood of 40.00. If you have sound and a picture, T-Con Board replacement should be your fix. Great videos on youtube if you need assistance. I would highly recommend that you watch the videos prior to proceeding. We get garbled sound on new sharp aquos +Q TV 60 inch

If you are using an antenna for input, then you are probably partially losing sync with the signal. You may want to adjust the antenna or try a signal booster. If you have input from a cable box, check the HDMI cable, possibly replacing it with a new one. If you're using a cable box with RCA cables, (Composite or component inputs) then the problem is most likely with the cable box loosing sync with the channel feed.

No picture from cable box to tv

If you get on screen menues using the Sharp Remote then you have a main board that is defective. If you just bought it new you are in luck as the warrenty on that unit is a lease 1 year parts and 1 year labor. Contact Sharp Customer Service and should be able to refur a Sharp Auth. Repair facility to get you taken care of. In the mean time, If you got on screen menues then you can go to any one of the other video inputs and see if you get a picture.
If you DO NOT get onscreen menues with the Sharp remote then you are out of luck until a service repair facility looks at it.
Hope this helps,

Sharp Aquous will not turn on.

I would check the System Cable that is linking the box to the TV. Then, press the small button called CLEAR in the front of the box. The button should be behind the flip cover on the front right below the PC input ports.
Let me know if this solution works.

Speaker distortion on SHARP 37" Aquos Hi Def

When you are changing channels you are using the tuner of the sat reeiver. the tv does not know you are changing a channel . It is just receiving a constant signal from the SAT receiver. I would suspect a problem with the receiver. Try another one first .

Volume issue

Very loud it never gonna be. It's a tv with very small speakers, but I have a lot of customers who complain about that and I checked first the signal source. Sometimes the sattelite receiver or cable box give a sound not so good. The best way to check it is to plug something (an antenna or just a 2 inch wire) in the coaxial plug to see if on the tuner is the same sound. I bet is gonna be stronger.
