I changed my router password and when i saved the new password the website told me password successfully changed after that a page appeared which had written something like 20 secs remaining. i had no idea what to do and i logged out. immediately the light turned orange and the internet stopped working. I used this website for password change-192.168.2.1 the connection type i chose was PPop i tried resetting my router but it was of no use.
Hi Shaifali,
No worries!
- Can you log back into the router? with the new password or with the old one?
-Has your router been totally re-setted to factory defaults?
- I think you have changed the PPoE connection password which is the internet link password to ISP instead of the router password?
Let me know these questions and I will help you resolve this issue
Testimonial: "Thank you very much. It was not reset properly. I connected it to my pc and restored the defaults properly. Thanks.. this helped a lot."

Reconfigure your computer's software that was changed to make the phone work.
On the router, rtfm.
I doubt a cell phone could change the router's settings.

SOURCE: HI, I'm using the Belkin
Hi there,Connect a computer to any one of the four LAN ports of the Belkin wireless router. DO NOT
use a wireless connection, use a cable.Open your web browser and type the IP address of the router (by default, the address is
http://192.168.2.1.) in the address bar and press Enter.
Click Login on the top of the page to login to the router. By default the Password is left
blank, click Submit.Under Wireless menu. -CLICK on SECURITY -- u will find security KEY
kindly rate this post. thank you
The color orange indicates that
the Router is not using the SecureEasySetup
feature, while the color white indicates that the
Router is using the SecureEasySetup feature.
When the Router enters SecureEasySetup
mode, the Cisco logo will turn white and
start flashing. After the Router has generated
the SSID and WPA Shared Key, the Cisco
logo will stop flashing and stay white.
So this "feature" can be turned off (meaning the light is off)
On the web-based router setup (192.168.1.1 in web browser) go to Wireless > Advanced Wireless Settings
Secure Easy Setup
This feature allows you to enable or
disable the SecureEasySetup feature. Select Disable to
disable the feature and turn off the button's light. The
feature is enabled by default.
Click the Save Settings button to apply your changes, or
click the Cancel Changes button to cancel your changes.
