I have just replaced the old printhead after getting another error. Now, when it is finishing the ink fill process(~ 90-95% of the progress bar) this error pops out. I have installed this new printhead along with new generic ink cartridges and the printer has drained (approx.) 100ml/cartridge now. In "service mode" it lets me print test pages but nothing from a pc will be printed. I can't update the firmware either (in service mode, can't try in normal mode) and I'm stuck in 1.07. The printer shows as "ready to update" in the pc application and lets you do it. When pc trasmission is done, printer will do nothing. In "normal mode" nothing can be done, the error appears before the printer shows any menu or completely initializes, always shows while is filling with ink, as if it tries to do the first fill of the new printhead every time you start it. Thanks for any help.

SOURCE: Ink cartridge (not) installed properly
Did you make sure that the colored tape was removed from the back of the ink cartridges? The manufacture puts the tape on there to protect the circuits during shipping. If the tape is still there it would not be able to communicate with the printer or computer.
SOURCE: Check Ink U130 5BK
Hold down the Stop/Reset button for 5 seconds or so - should start working now - although this stops the low ink warnings from then on
