Kyocera FS1000+ firmware upgrade

Hi all

I am looking for the Kyocera FS1000+ firmware upgrade. Does anyone know where i can get this.

Kyocera won't give it to you. You will have have an authorized Kyocera technician load it.

Is anyone else having problems with the touch screen control center lagging, or just being unresponsive, on their Kyocera CopyStar CS2560? This has to be the cheapest machine of all time.

1 u need to upgrade firmware on it (a must do) service engineer call out (about 100mb)
2 get more memory for the copier and not the printer controlle will speed thing up a bit

im not sure if this is the problem that youre having, but i do know that the older r4 cards dont support anything bigger than 2gb sd cards. and there is no updated firmware for 4gb support that ive noticed, when i was trying to figure out the same problem for my r4 i noticed that they came out with a different card for 4gb support

Hi Bobbie,
If you are still having a problem with you FS 4000 printer I would suggest a firmware upgrade.
They change from one country to another so you will have to access the firmware locally.
This usually fixes silly problems such as this.

The printer will not load the papers

Hi you may try:
1) paper input sensor dirty, clean paper input sensor usually near the tray input roler area there is a micro switch or a led light sensor with two wires.
2) paper input sensor fail or disconnect between sensor and socket on the board, you have to open the cover to check.

A firmware upgrade should solve the problem

download the file (i received one a year ago ftom Kyocera), put it on usb stick
power off the machine, installed the usb stick (at the back) and power on

after upgrade problem should be gone
