Should be part of fuel pump assembly. I looked at an online partsbook for your vehicle--2.5L engine--didn't show fuel filter. That usually means, the filter is part of fuel pump assemble.
Have you checked for applicable trouble codes? Your saying it stalls every couple of miles?

Not normally especially for a late model car. Is it out of warranty? If so I would check the fuses first.

If passenger side is working on high beam it sounds like you need a bulb replacement $10.00-$20.00 local auto parts house

It could be the Computer but if it has 75 thousand miles on it, it might need a fluid change.
